gsplot.set_theme#

set_theme(target, theme)#

Apply a validated Theme only to an explicit Figure or Axes.

Parameters:

  • target (Figure | Axes) – Figure or Axes whose artists and patch are updated.

  • theme (Theme) – Immutable appearance values. No process-wide rcParams are changed.

Returns:

The explicit target is styled in place.

Return type:

None

Raises:

PlotError – If the target or theme combination is invalid.
